Environmental Policy

RNGC understand how important it is to protect the environment locally and worldwide. One way we do this is by reducing our carbon emissions through planning all our journeys, buying locally and employing local people. We have also recently relocated our premises within very close proximity to 90% of our work.

Other ways we reduce our environmental impact:

  • Keep abreast and comply with legislation, regulations and codes of practice on environmental matters relevant to our field
  • Minimise the environmental impacts of our sites and their effects on the local community by keeping the site orderly and tidy, conserving natural habitats and wildlife, archaeological heritage; and adopting reasonable controls for preventing air, ground, water and noise pollution
  • Ensure that sub contractors adhere to environmental policies and procedures
  • Promote environmental awareness and commitment
  • Establish emergency procedures and notify clients and competent authorities of environmental problems encountered during construction, and jointly resolve such issues
  • Use the highest quality materials for long-lasting and durable results
  • Always building a comprehensive plan prior to construction, optimising efficiency, reducing waste and keeping to specified materials
  • Recycling all our green waste
  • Water management
